CHIROPRACTIC CARE
Chiropractic's Natural Healing Benefits
Chiropractic is a healthcare discipline based on the scientific premise that the body is a self-regulating, self-healing organism. These important functions are controlled by the brain, spinal cord, and all the nerves of the body.
The practice of chiropractic focuses on the relationship between structure (primarily the spine, and pelvis) and function (as coordinated by the nervous system) and how that relationship affects the preservation and restoration of health.
APPLIED KINESIOLOGY
Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a diagnostic technique used by some chiropractors to assess nervous system function and find solutions to health concerns. Muscle testing is used to determine whether a muscle is “locked” or “unlocked,” indicating underlying issues that need to be addressed.
Once the practitioner identifies the weakened muscle, a variety of techniques may be used to correct the underlying issue, such as chiropractic adjustments, nutritional supplements, or lifestyle changes. The goal of AK is to restore balance and harmony to the body’s systems and promote natural healing.
SACRO OCCIPITAL TECHNIQUE
SOT is considered a gentle technique and is suitable for both children and pregnant women. The goal of SOT is to improve overall spinal function, relieve pain, and enhance overall health and well-being.
NEURO EMOTIONAL TECHNIQUE
NET practitioners use muscle testing to identify specific emotions that may be causing symptoms, and then use techniques to help release the emotional tension and restore balance to the body. The goal of NET is to improve overall health and well-being by reducing the impact of stress and negative emotions on the body.
ACTIVATOR METHOD
This instrument allows chiropractors to provide a quick, low force impulse at specific points with the goal of restoring motion to the targeted point. It is a very gentle way to restore motion to joints & the spine.
